Dofus Forge

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Dofus Forge ("we", "us") is a free, fan-made build planner for Dofus 3. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

If you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and any display name, avatar, or bio you choose to add — handled through our authentication provider, Supabase. The builds, comments, likes, ratings, and follows you create are stored so the site can show them to you and, where you choose to make them public, to other users. We do not sell your personal data to anyone. To count a build's views without counting the same visitor twice, we use an irreversible identifier (a hash) derived from your IP address and browser: the IP itself is never stored, and that identifier is deleted after an hour.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, store draft builds in progress, and avoid counting your view of the same build twice. These are functional and are not used to track you across other websites.

Advertising & Google AdSense

We show ads through Google AdSense to help cover hosting costs. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Where required (for example, in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can review or change your ad preferences at Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com), and learn more in Google's own Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account and its data at any time from your Account page, or by emailing us. If you're in the EEA, UK, or another region with data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes your profile and private builds; builds you made public may be anonymized rather than deleted outright if other users have interacted with them (likes, comments), to keep those discussions coherent.

Children's Privacy

Dofus Forge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this page as the site evolves. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
